Where are Kettler Tricycles made?
All Kettler Kettrikes we carry are made in Germany.

What kind of paint does Kettler use?
Actually, Kettler does not use conventional paint, but a durable, weatherproof polyester coating which will not peel, fade or chip. So even after years of use your trike will still look as good as it did the first day.

When is my child old enough to ride a tricycle?
This really depends on your child, but our experiance has shown that most children should be at least 2 years of age. Otherwise they might not be able to reach the pedals or grasped the concept of 'pedaling'.

Which trike is right for my child?
Well, that really depends on which trike is right for you.
-Do you like to go for walks and push you child with the push bar? Deffinately get a Navigator, air tires or not is really up to you.
-Do you want a trike just for the backyard? A Blossom, Junior or Oceana would be perfect.
-Are you and/or you child tall? You might want to skip the Blossom and Junior and go with a 'S' frame trike. The frame is a bit bigger and your child will be able to use the trike longer.But the Jumbo is largest.

What is a 'tandem insert'?
A tandem insert is basically a piece of frame with a seat, footrest and handle bar that can be inserted in all "s" frame trikes. If you have 2 children and one might be too young to ride a tricycle on their own, you can use a tandem insert and both of them can 'ride' on the same trike. You can add up to 3 inserts per trike. We do recommend the use of the stroller push bar instead of the standard push bar.
